Annual Giving to Graduate Education
Gifts empower School of Humanities and Sciences graduate students
Stanford’s School of Humanities and Sciences is advancing discovery in the humanities, arts, social sciences, and natural sciences, and H&S graduate students are at the heart of this endeavor.
Our students partner with world-renowned faculty to push the frontiers of knowledge, from climate solutions and pioneering human-centered AI to studying how language shapes cultural identities and communication in our global society.
Your contribution to the H&S Fund for Graduate Education has a direct impact on their efforts through support of:
- Exceptional academics: Our students benefit from faculty mentorship in a collaborative environment that fosters scholarly excellence.
- Critical research and training: Students deepen our understanding of the world, while contributing to the advancement of their fields.
- Financial gaps: Those who otherwise would not be able to pursue graduate work receive the aid they need to achieve their educational goals.
Thank you for your commitment to the future of research, education, and human understanding.

Leadership Giving
Each year, Stanford’s School of Humanities and Sciences relies on a dedicated group of leadership donors whose contributions of $1,000 or more represent nearly half of all funds raised. These gifts provide us with the ability to allocate even greater resources where and when our students need them most.
There are four levels of leadership giving:
- Scholars Circle: $25,000+
- Catalyst Circle: $10,000 - $24,999
- Sandstone Circle: $5,000 - $9,999
- Leadership Circle: $1,000 - $4,999
