Barnabas Daru receives International Biogeography Society award
Barnabas Daru, an assistant professor in the Department of Biology, has been awarded the 2026 MacArthur and Wilson Award from the International Biogeography Society. The award recognizes outstanding contributions to foundational research. Daru was noted for his studies of large-scale biodiversity patterns and for contributions to understanding potential bias in large-scale biodiversity data and in herbarium collections.
