Debra Satz awarded Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Professorship

Debra Satz, the Vernon R. and Lysbeth Warren Anderson Dean of the School of the Humanities and Sciences, the Marta Sutton Weeks Professor of Ethics in Society, and professor in the Department of Philosophy, has been selected for the 2024-25 Romanell-Phi Beta Kappa Professorship from the Phi Beta Kappa Society. The professorship is awarded annually to philosophy scholars, and the winner gives three lectures during the year of their professorship. Satz has proposed lectures on the effects of economic markets and how they shape our culture and social institutions.
