Judith Fan awarded Gleitman Prize

Judith Fan, assistant professor of psychology, has received the 2026 Lila R. Gleitman Prize for Early-Career Contributions to Cognitive Science from the Cognitive Science Society. The prize recognizes an early-career woman in cognitive science whose research and scholarly promise represent the work of Gleitman. Fan was chosen for her research into how humans use cognitive tools such as drawings, sketches, and other physical representations of thought to learn, communicate, and solve problems.
