Richard Schoen wins World Laureates Association Prize
Richard Schoen, the Anne T. and Robert M. Bass Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences, Emeritus, and professor, emeritus, in the Department of Mathematics, has been awarded the World Laureates Association's WLA Prize in Computer Science or Mathematics. Schoen was selected for “resolving problems once deemed intractable, creating mathematical tools that redefined the framework of geometric analysis, and inspiring generations of geometers with his pedagogical insights and pioneering approaches.”
