James Gross wins lifetime achievement award
James Gross, the Ernest R. Hilgard Professor and professor of psychology, has received the William James Fellow Award from the Association for Psychological Science (APS). The award honors an APS member's lifetime of contributions to the basic science of psychology. Gross was recognized for more than 30 years of work in the science of emotional regulation, including establishment of a model that remains the guiding theoretical perspective in the field.
